Doctors & Staff

Dr. Meyer was raised in Flagstaff and attended the University of Arizona. After graduating from Southern California College of Optometry in 1990, she moved back to Flagstaff to begin her career. After associating with Flagstaff Eye Care for 4 years, Dr. Meyer and Dr. Lisa Lex started Eye Care Associates in 1994. She takes great pride in delivering quality optical and medical eye care, with a special area of interest in hard to fit contact lenses. When not in the office, Maureen enjoys all of the activities living in Flagstaff allows, such as running and skiing and raising her three children.

Dr. McQuivey provides exceptional and personalized eye care. He makes it his goal to ensure the best possible vision for his patients during every examination. When he is not focusing on patients he focuses on his family and enjoys rock climbing, running, and hiking

Dr. Samuel grew up in the Maryland, D.C. area. She graduated from Andrews University in Michigan, with a B.S. in Zoology-Biomedical Option. Then, Dr. Samuel received her B.S. in Visual Science and Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry. After Chicago, she moved to Kayenta, AZ on the Navajo Reservation to complete a primary care residency through the Southern California College of Optometry. There she expanded her knowledge and received valuable experience in an area with a strong need for eye care. Dr. Samuel then moved back to the east and practiced optometry in Pennsylvania and Maryland. After a year in the east, she realized how much she missed the southwest lifestyle. Dr. Samuel is an active member of the Arizona Optometric Association, Assistance League of Flagstaff Alpine Auxiliary, and serves on the board of North Country Community Health Center. She believes in working hard as well as taking the time to enjoy outdoor sports on her free time. Jennifer is committed to her patients and values the relationships she makes with them.

Risa has been with Eye Care Assoicates since it began in 1994. She has years of experience in both helping select the perfect frame for you as well as maintaining the adjustment so you may enjoy your "new look".

Mary has been with us since 2002. She is very enthusiastic and always willing to help you with all your optical needs.

Dana has been with Eye Care Assoicates since it began in 1994. With her attention to detail and patience in contact lens trainings, she is ready to assist you with all your contact lens needs.

Kelly has been our Billing Coordinator/Receptionist since 2000. She is extremely knowledgeale in most insurance plans and is ready to welcome you to our office.
