Dr. Amanda Grimh is the newest addition to Eye Care Associates. She was born and raised in Flagstaff and attended Flagstaff High School and Northern Arizona University before attending Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. Dr. Grimh, formerly McCullough, knew her hometown was where she wanted to practice and is happy to finally make this dream a reality. When not taking care of patients, Dr. Grimh enjoys traveling, being outdoors and spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr. McQuivey joined Eye Care Associates in the summer of 2010. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience at Brigham Young University and went on to graduate with his doctor of optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. McQuivey enjoys all aspects of his profession but particularly likes fitting contact lenses, ocular disease and low vision. Moving to Flagstaff and becoming a part of Eye Care Associates was a dream come true for Dr. McQuivey who loves to trail run, mountain bike, rock climb and spend time outdoors with his wife and two children.
Dr. Meyer was raised in Flagstaff and attended the University of Arizona. After graduating from Southern California College of Optometry in 1990, she moved back to Flagstaff to begin her career. Dr. Meyer and Dr. Lisa Lex started Eye Care Associates in 1994. She takes great pride in delivering quality optical and medical eye care, with a special area of interest in hard to fit contact lenses. When not in the office, Maureen enjoys all of the activities living in Flagstaff allows, such as running and skiing and raising her three children.
Dr. Lexi Kortsen, formerly Ignace, was born and raised in Flagstaff where she graduated from Coconino High School and Northern Arizona University. Dr. Kortsen received her Doctor of Optometry degree from MidwesternUniversity’s Arizona College of Optometry. In addition to routine eye care, she enjoys managing patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetes. During her free time, she likes to mountain bike, snowboard, and spend time at the lake with her husband and family. Dr. Kortsen is excited to be back in Flagstaff and is eager to be caring for patients in her hometown
